Privacy Policy (Protection policy of Personal Information)

 

1. Definition of Personal Information

Our company recognizes personal information as information about a living individual, as specified by laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal information (which can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other description that can identify a specific individual), and information used in association with a specific individual such as an e-mail address, user ID, password, credit card, as well as personal integrated interests, family members, age and other related personal information properties.

 

2. Cookie / IP Address Information

Our company does not consider cookie and IP address information as personal information, as they cannot be used independently to identify a specific individual. However, we consider such information as personal information when they are used with any personal information.

 

3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

We collect, use and disclose personal data for business purposes only and to meet the needs of our Users, including:

5. Appropriate Acquisition of Personal Information

Our company obtains personal information properly, and never obtain such information through false or dishonest means.

 

6. Notification of Purpose of Use when Obtaining Personal Information

Our company announces the purpose of use of personal information in advance when obtaining it. However, this shall not apply to the following cases;

  1. There is a risk of harm to the life, body, property or other rights of interests of the individual or any third party, by notifying or publicly announce the purpose of use to the individual concerned 
  2. Notification or disclose of purpose of use to the individual may cause harm to our rights or legitimate interests
  3. It is necessary to cooperate with national organs or local authorities in performing their legal duties by laws and regulations, and notification or disclose of purpose of use to the individual concerned may cause harm to perform such legal duties
  4. The purpose of use is found to be clear in light of the circumstances of the acquisition

 

7. Change Purpose of Use of Personal Information

Our company shall not change the purpose of use beyond the scope in which it is reasonable to find that the changed purpose of use is appropriately relevant to the original purpose of use, and publicize or communicate the changed purpose of use to the individuals concerned.

Our company takes necessary and appropriate supervision of employees for security control of personal information, such as prevention of leakage, loss, or destruction of personal information. Also, our company carries out necessary and appropriate supervision of employees to ensure the security of personal information when we make employees deal with personal information.

Our company will not provide any personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent of the persons concerned, unless otherwise involves the following cases;

  5. The following items are announced or publicized in advance;
    1. The purpose of use includes provision to third parties
    2. Data items provided to third parties
    3. Means or measures for provision to third parties
    4. The provision of personal data to third parties will be suspended at the request of the individual concerned. However, none of the following cases are considered as a third party specified as above;
  6. Our company entrusts all or part of the business handling personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes
  7. Personal information is transferred to the successor following the succession of a business due to a merger or other reasons
  8. The individual concerned has been notified in advance that our company will use the personal information in common with a specific person, and give detailed information in advance such as items to be used in common, the range of the users in common, each user’s purpose, and the name of the person or organization having responsibility for managing such personal information; or otherwise such detailed information has provided a way to be easily obtained by the individual concerned. 

 

In case our company uses the personal information in common with any specific party, our company will, in advance, notify the individual concerned or make readily accessible the details of any change to the purpose for usage of personal information or any change to the name or title of any responsible person for managing the personal information.
